The Asterix is a hexagonal stud built like a wheel a central solitaire connected to six outer satellites by slim spokes of gold, each spoke tipped with a diamond. The structure is open and airy between its points.

The spoke and hub construction means this earring is substantially lighter than its 7mm footprint suggests there is more negative space than gold. The six outer diamonds sit at regular intervals, creating a rhythm that makes the eye move around the piece rather than settle at the centre. It wears like a compass. It catches light like a small constellation.
