The Flutter is a three pear ring on a beaded band three small pear cut diamonds arranged as a butterfly's wings, two angled outward and one centred below, the whole composition held above a full circle of gold beads. Light enough to forget, distinctive enough to remember.

The butterfly form in jewellery usually involves enamels, wings, and elaborate metalwork. Here it is reduced to its minimum three pear cuts in the right arrangement, and the eye does the rest.
