The Grain is a princess cut solitaire on a beaded band square stone set in a clean four claw mount above a full circle of gold spheres, the sharpness of the princess cut contrasting with the softness of the bead band beneath. Geometry meeting texture.

Princess cut and beaded band is an unusual pairing the stone is angular and precise, the band is tactile and rounded. Together they create a ring that works through contrast rather than harmony. The beads give the princess cut warmth it does not naturally have; the stone gives the band a focal point it would otherwise lack.
