The Raindrop is a pear solitaire on a beaded band stone in a simple three claw open crown, the band's gold spheres running the full circumference beneath it. The combination of a pointed stone above a rounded band is an exercise in soft contrast.

Where the Dewdrop bypasses, the Raindrop completes the full bead circle grounds the stone above it, giving the pear a foundation as tactile as it is visual. The pear hangs downward in its setting the way a drop of water would, the lowest point always drawing the eye. In yellow gold the warmth of the beaded band makes the stone appear warmer than its E-F colour suggests. Wear it pointing toward the hand.
