The Tendril is a pear solitaire ring on a bypass band the stone set in a four claw crown at the point where the band curls past itself without closing, one end finishing in a fine tapered point beneath the setting. The gold moves like something growing.

A pear at 0.35 carats in a setting that borrows from Art Nouveau's affection for natural, organic forms. The bypass construction means the ring has two ends rather than one continuous loop the band appears to spiral around the finger and stop just at the moment of the stone. The pear's curved shoulder aligns perfectly with the curl of the band. Form and stone in agreement.
